This is a super cool vintage Tokai Silver Star SS-40 that plays and sounds great! The neck profile has a comfortable "C" shape.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body and small dings along the headstock. The Olympic white finish has also aged and yellowed from over time and the hardware shows normal tarnishing. The pickup covers and volume/tone knobs have also yellowed from over the years. The frets are used but still play well overall and the electronics work as they should.
The back spring cover has been added and the bridge pickup cover has been swapped. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
