This Martin M-38 plays and sounds great! The tone woods include a spruce top, mahogany neck, rosewood back and sides, and an ebony fretboard. The guitar is currently strung with D'Addario XS 12-53 strings and plays comfortably with medium action.
This guitar does show a few signs of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes light surface scratches and small dents throughout the body. There's also some small finish chips along the sides and throughout the binding. A small section of the binding has chipped off near the neck heal and there's also cracks in the binding located on the headstock near the nut. The back of the neck shows some additional minor dings and finish wear. The bridge pegs also show some scuffs from over time. The frets are still in nice shape and feel great to play along the neck.
This guitar is original.
Includes the pictured OHSC and case candy. The case does have a crack towards the back but otherwise keeps the guitar secure.
