This 2004 Gretsch G6120DS has been customized to be like a Brian Setzer Signature Hot Rod. The bridge pickup was swapped for a TV Jones, the pickguard has been replaced with a Brian Setzer signature guard, the knobs have been swapped for dice knobs, and a "Brian Setzer Hot Rod" plate was added to the headstock as well as a" Brian Setzer Model" truss rod cover.
The case includes a leather guitar strap, quality control card, and ticket stubs from past Brian Setzer shows provided by the previous owners.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches and light scuffs throughout the body from normal play. The binding and fret inlays have yellowed from over time and the hardware shows some light tarnish as well. The frets are used but still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
The dice knobs have been added and the bridge pickup includes a TV Jones pickup instead of the Dyna Sonic single coil pickup. The pickguard was swapped for a Brian Setzer signature pickguard. The truss rod cover has been swapped for a "Brian Setzer Model" cover. A "Brian Setzer Hot Rod" plate was screwed into the headstock as shown. We received the guitar as it is now, and do not have any of the original parts. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
