This guitar was among Gibson's first recreations of the iconic late 50s Les Paul. This example has aged beautifully over time, exhibiting light checking in the finish. The factory-equipped Tim Shaw PAFs sound great, delivering the classic PAF bite and clarity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis guitar is in great shape for its age! It does show normal cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. The gold finish also aged and shows quite a bit of checking on the front of the body. The binding along the neck shows small cracks throughout and the hardware also shows normal patina consistent with aging. The frets exhibit only normal light play wear with plenty of life left. The neck is straight with room in both directions on the truss rod and the electronics work as they should.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pickup rings, pickguard, and bridge are later replacements.
