Fender ST-357V Stratocaster Neck 1988-1989 Maple Fretboard Partial Scallop Made in Japan MIJ
I received this neck exactly as it is now, so I'm not sure its exact origins. It is a 1988-1989 Fender MIJ ST-357V neck that is scalloped from the 12th fret to the 21st fret. The scallop is between light and medium.
Grover tuners where installed aftermarket on this.
The previous owner noted he thought this came from some kind of Yngwie Malmsteen strat, but I have no way to confirm this. or any indication of this otherwise. I would assume the scallop is aftermarket.
Frets have some normal wear, but still play great. Neck is used, and shows according cosmetic wear to its age.
