The guitar is comprised of an ash body, maple \"C\" shape neck, and maple fretboard. The transparent black finish with matching headstock looks awesome, displaying the wood grain nicely in a dark brown, with some green undertones. It does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The maple fretboard has also aged from over time with wear throughout. The hardware shows light patina consistent with age. The frets show some light play wear, but play great up and down the neck with plenty of life left. This guitar came in with a few replacement parts, most notably the DiMarzio bridge pickup is a later replacement. The pickguard and backplate with accompanying screws are later replacements, with evidence of a slightly different style guard previously present.
