The tortoise shell guard is transparent, exposing the inside cavities and electronics. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis guitar shows normal cosmetic wear for its age that includes light surface scratches, scuffs, small chips, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The ivory finish has also aged nicely from over time. The frets are in nice shape with plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pickguard and all of the electronics have been replaced.
